After Jay-z’s departure from Def Jam’s executive offices, he started his new label, Roc Nation. The first rapper being introduced by Roc Nation and Jay-z is North Carolina native, J. Cole. The Warm Up is his new mixtape and if you’re looking for a new artist to vibe with, this might be what you need. This guy is a breath of fresh air and he’s hungry as hell. Production wise, this mixtape is great. I never heard of the producers but the beats in this mixtape are top notch. Jay hits a homerun for signing J. Cole.
