Microsoft’s E3 press conference just wrapped up and it didn’t lack any new additions to Xbox Live. Last year we got Facebook, Last.Fm, and Twitter; later this year Xbox Live gold members will get ESPN.

The worldwide leader in sports has partnered up with Microsoft to bring you over 3,500 sports games ranging from pretty much every sport we care about. The ESPN addition was demoed during the conference with the use of Microsoft’s control free Kinect. Games were said to be represented in HD, and will feature cool replay features using Kinect’s voice command capabilities.

ESPN will show up on Xbox Live this fall and will be free for all Xbox Live gold members. No news regarding on wether this will be U.S. only.
