R4 Card Banned In The UK, DS Sales Should Increase

“It was all good just a week ago”, that’s the tune many people will sing across the UK today. The popular R4 Emulator card is now banned from the UK for good. The R4 basically helps gamers play any Nintendo DS game they set they’re hearts on. The UK has a high volume of R4 users so this news may come as a Thor like hammer to some. Nintendo takes a win and lets it be known:

“Nintendo promotes and fosters game development and creativity, and strongly supports the game developers who legitimately create new and innovative applications,” states Nintendo. “Nintendo initiates these actions not only on its own behalf, but also on behalf of over 1,400 video game-development companies that depend on legitimate sales of games for their survival.”

Start buying games people. You want more games you have to support the folks who make them. You have no seat at the table of opinions if you bootleg your titles.
