Sony sure does love their Buddy-focused/mascot platformers. There’s nothing like having a good friend to help you through a tough time and neither Jak, Ratchet nor Sly Cooper would be able to thwart evil so easily without help from Daxter, Clank and Bentley respectively. The unfortunately named Playstation Move Heroes sees all six of the aforementioned protagonists join forces to create a super group to once again rid the world of evil. As the name suggests, this is a Playstation Move exclusive title but worryingly neither Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch nor Insomniac had anything to do with the game’s development. Instead the relatively unknown Nihilistic Software are tasked with bringing this great idea to life, you might know them as the guys behind the atrocious Marvel Nemesis. However unlike Marvel, I’m sure Sony will be pulling out all the stops to insure that their treasured characters won’t be teaming up to star in a dud. Call me crazy but I have faith that Playstation Move Heroes will be the Move game that we’ve all been waiting for, Sony has too much to lose if this game doesn’t deliver.
