Next year Professor Layton and his pre-pubescent sidekick Luke will be making the transition to 3D, and that can only mean one thing…. Even more perplexing puzzles! Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle is the fifth game in the Professor Layton series but the fact that the fourth game (The Specter’s Flute) still hasn’t been released outside of Japan may present a problem. The game’s story sees Layton and Luke searching for the Mask of Miracle, a magical mask which grants wishes to whoever is wearing it. Unfortunately “a mysterious man” gets a hold of the mask before Layton can and uses its paranormal powers to turn people in to stone. Of course the story is just a smoke screen and the real reason you’ll be picking this game up is so you can solve hundreds of three-dimensional puzzles! Prepare your brain for this mental workout in advance…!!!
