Xbox 360 Begins The Road To North American Domination

New NPD data released shows the Xbox 360 gaining huge momentum with its new model. Last month numbers for June had the 360 outselling the Nintendo Wii by a slim margin. Most didn’t see it as something to make a big deal about. Some analyst barked at that position saying the Xbox 360 was definitely gaining ground. This month’s NPD data further supports that theory. But It doesn’t fully confirm it. I would personally give a consistent 3-4 months of the 360 selling this way to say it really has that drive.

One thing we should take note of about Nintendo is the decrease. Nintendo is a system that consistently sold 500k a month. With recent news of the Wii being 30 Million sold in the US, its not so hard to see that monthly number slow down. View the full numbers below.
