UK Charts: Killzone 3 Shoots Down The Competition

Written by on

Sony and Guerrilla Game’s shooter Killzone 3 has topped this week’s UK charts, taking the top spot over rival shooters Bulletstorm and Call Of Duty: Black Ops. Epic’s debut of Bulletstorm is a pretty impressive new I.P but the Killzone franchise was just too big after the success of Killzone 2 which released almost two years ago. Activision’s Call Of Duty: Black Ops which was last week’s number one found itself in third place this week, giving us a top three full of shooters. Black Op’s is followed by Fifa 11 and Just Dance 2. The full top ten is listed below thanks to Chart-Track.

1. Killzone 3 (Guerrilla Games, Sony Computer Entertainment)
2. Bulletstorm (People Can Fly/Epic Games, EA)
3. Call of Duty: Black Ops (Treyarch, Activision)
4. FIFA 11 (EA Sports, EA)
5. Just Dance 2 (Ubisoft, Ubisoft)
6. Dead Space 2 (Visceral Games, EA)
7. Marvel vs Capcom 3 (Capcom, Capcom)
8. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (Criterion Games, EA)
