Despite the fact that Uncharted 3 is one of this generation’s best games, I’m sure no one was expecting it to be a sales juggernaut especially during this crowded holiday period . However today Sony announced that Naughty Dog’s latest masterpiece has sold 3.8 million copies worldwide on its first day in stores! Just to put things in to prospective, the first Uncharted game has sold roughly 4 million copies and Uncharted 2 is currently hovering around the 5 million mark. Sony also confirmed that the 3.8 million number represents units sold, not shipped already making Uncharted 3 one of the PS3’s best selling games.
Uncharted 4 seems almost guaranteed at this point!
