Ever since 2004, the critically acclaimed Far Cry series has achieved modest success by creating memorable first-person shooter experiences within unique open world environments. Pulling off such a feat allowed them to gain several fans while also earning the respect of their rivals. With the release of Far Cry 3, Ubisoft Montreal intends to elevate the franchise to new heights in terms of gameplay enhancements in both combat and upgrades. The setting takes place throughout several remote tropical islands, giving the player the task of escaping each area by defending against enemies.
Far Cry 3 will hit retail stores on September 7th in the US, and September 9th in Europe.
