The first of a three part DLC series for Assassin's Creed 3 called The Tyranny of Washington begins next month, starting with The Infamy. The three part series takes place during an alternative history of the American Revolution where George Washington becomes King.

If you want to get all three at a discounted price plus two more future DLC add-ons, you can get the Season Pass, which you can purchase for 2400 MS Points or $29.99/£23.99.

Assassin's Creed 3 was a great game but failed to live up to great expectations that fans held, and ultimately the ending felt rushed and disappointing. However, setting downloadable content in an alternative universe seems like a breath of fresh air that could make me go back and play some more.

The first episode, The Infamy, costs 800 MS Points or £9.99/$9.99 and will be available on PC and Xbox on Feb 19 and on PS3 February 20.
