Steam Greenlight Chooses 10 More Titles

Valve has announced the 10 next titles that have made their way onto Steam through Steam Greenlight, and they might surprise you..

Getting onto Steam can be difficult, especially for new developers who have never worked with Steam before. For independent teams, having your game on Steam can either make or break it. Having the user base that Valve provides means more exposure, more sales and ultimately more money for making games.

To streamline the arduous process of choosing games to get onto Steam, Valve started Steam Greenlight, where Steam users vote on what games they would like to see on the platform. This way users get the games they want faster, however with only ten games getting through at a time it can be a difficult process.

These lucky few are:

  • Akaneiro: Demon Hunters
  • Asylum
  • DLC Quest
  • Eador. Masters of the Broken World
  • La-Mulana
  • Leisure Suit Larry
  • MaK
  • The Age of Decadence
  • Unepic
  • War For The Overworld

Most surprising here is probably a remake of Leisure Suit Larry, notorious for its raunchy material, but hey, what the people want the people get.
On a more serious note Asylum, a point ‘n click psychological horror game developed by Senscape, seems to be very promising. Other highlights include the comedy platformer DLC Quest and the Indiana Jones inspired La-Mulana.
