In this episode of Swiff Plays SNES my colleague Anthony Frasier suggested we play a beat-em up by the name of Brawl Brothers. Once again Anthony Frasier, Richard Bailey and Edward Velazquez joined in on the fun, adding their hilarious commentary.
It may not be considered a Super Nintendo classic but we felt it would be a bad idea to try and play every classic SNES game back to back. So expect me to occasionally side-track into some lesser known SNES games every couple of episodes.
As a huge fan of Streets of Rage on the Sega Genesis, I have to admit I kind of despise Brawl Brothers, but it was certainly fun trying it out for the first time.
For those who don't know Swiff Plays SNES started because me and Edward got into multiple heated debates over the fact that I never owned a SNES console. To this day he still believes that me not owning the console is damaging to my credibility as a gamer.
Though I strongly disagree with him, I did believe that I should revisit the SNES and play some of the games I missed out on back in the day. And that's how this show was birthed.
