Today, Square Enix and United Front Games decided to unveil the latest piece of story driven downloadable content for their popular Sleeping Dogs video game. Specially titled The Year of the Snake, this DLC package extends Wei Shen's story beyond the main game's campaign and pits him up against a ruthless new clan. Players will gain access to new weapons, outfits, collectibles, and achievements upon successfully completing this content.
As a fan of Sleeping Dogs, I most certainly am excited that Square Enix continues to still support this game so long after it's release. While the game didn't particularly sell well everywhere, I feel alot of studios that do open world games can learn an awful lot from this game and I can only hope that a sequel will hit next gen consoles in the not too distant future.
Sleeping Dogs: Year of The Snake DLC is available now on Xbox Live, PSN, and Steam and retails for $6.99 ( 560 Microsoft Points). Will any of you guys be picking up this content? Feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
