Saddle Up, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger Gets A Launch Trailer

The launch trailer for Call of Juarez: Gunslinger has been released a couple of days before its May 22 release, probably in an attempt to remind everyone that this game even existed in the first place.

Despite my snark, I actually enjoyed the previous entries in the Call of Juarez series and after viewing the trailer (embedded above) the game actually doesn’t look half bad.

The trailer follows the character Silas and his adventures against enemies such as Butch Cassidy and Jesse James. It also highlights the numerous abilities you can use to help gain an advantage over the enemy, these include the Sense of Death which helps you dodge bullets and Concentration mode which slows down time allowing you to get off shots with more precision.

The trailer shows off three gameplay modes. True West is a hard setting in which the enemies are much tougher and there is no HUD, Arcade mode gives you all gameplay and no story if that’s your thing and finally Duel mode allows you to stand-off against other in a shootout in the Wild West.

Let me know in the comments if this trailer has peaked your interest in the game. It certainly taught me more about it then anything else I’d heard about the game.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger releases May 22 on XBLA, PSN and PC for $14.99.
