Diablo 3 Coming To PS3 And 360 September 3

Blizzard today announced that Diablo 3 will be arriving on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 on September 3rd.

The press release gave some information about how the game had been tailored to suit the console versions. Check out what Blizzard had to say below:

“The console versions of Diablo III have been custom-tailored for gamepad-driven action, with a dynamic camera perspective that puts your hero front and center, as well as an all-new user interface and an intuitive control system that make vanquishing evil feel like second nature. Players can take on the vile denizens of the Burning Hells alone or in a party of up to four via same-screen local cooperative play or online over PlayStation® Network™ or the Xbox Live® online entertainment network from Microsoft.”

“In addition, the game supports parties composed of both local and online players. Once gamers experience the rush of Diablo III’s unique brand of hack-and-slash gameplay from the comfort of their couch, Sanctuary will never be the same.”

It is quite a surprise that it is coming to the 360 after the big deal that Sony made about Blizzard coming out at their press conference last year, maybe the game will be exclusive to the PS4 but I am starting to doubt that now. As you might now I always wanted to play Diablo 3 so I console version is perfect for me!

Let me know in the comments if you are as excited as me for a console version of Diablo 3.
