J. Cole – Cole Summer [Hip-Hop]

In preparation for his new album, “Born Sinner“, NC emcee J. Cole has been steady dropping new tracks for fans’ listening enjoyment.

Last night he graced the webs with the new free tune “Cole Summer”. Like previous J. Cole fashion, before the deal, the lyricist raps over a self-produced Lauryn Hill “Nothing Even Matters” sample.

Abandoning the usual formula of “verse, chorus, hook”, he raps about life in the game throughout the entire 5 minute track. Claiming that this will not be a feature on his upcoming sophomore LP, dropping June 25th, this single provides a introspective look into the rapper’s life and creates some much needed buzz.

J. Cole also announced that the sequel to his “Truly Yours” EP is coming tomorrow.
