After releasing the infectious single “Power Trip” ft Miguel, North Carolina emcee J.Cole drops a dramatic visual for the chart-climbing single. This is the second time that the two have collaborated together and, like before, they deliver a banger. The Nabil and Mike Piscitelli video has the Roc Nation rapper paying homage to his 2009 track “Dreams”.
In the video, Cole channels Drake and returns home to Fayetteville, NC to find that the woman of his admiration is with another man, played by Miguel. What seems like a simple stalking of the girl outside her house, later takes a turn for the worse. I can’t say too much without giving away the “shocking” ending, but the vid comes complete with strippers and plenty of drinking.
