Respawn Entertainment, the studio formed by the former heads of Infinity Ward, will be attending E3 this year and plan to to show off what they’ve been working on.
Co-founder Vince Zampella tweeted: “I’ve gotten a ‘few’ questions about @e3expo plans this year. Yes, we will finally be at E3!”
We still do not know whether they will be announcing their new game at a press conference or if it will only be shown behind closed doors but nonetheless the news is exciting.
Ever since the drama that surrounded infamous lawsuit between Jason West and Vince Zampella and Activision spurred Respawn’s creation, everyone has been dying to know what type of game they are making. There are very high expectations considering that half of the team that made Call of Duty 4 left to join Respawn following West and Zampella’s dismissal.
Zampella later tweeted: “I have no intention of showing up empty handed! I can’t say anything else right now.” I guess that means we’ll have to wait until E3 2013 to find out more. Would anyone bet against it being a FPS? I wouldn’t.
