Yesterday, Microsoft confirmed via their blog that Chariot, Darksiders II and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will all be available for free during the October “Games With Gold” promotion.
Chariot is an intriguing couch co-op platformer and the newest indie title to come out of the ID@Xbox program. The game will be available for download on the Xbox One starting on October 1st and ending on October 31st. The launch trailer is embedded below for you all to check out.
From October 1st through the 15th, Xbox 360 owners will be able to download Battlefield: Bad Company 2. This game features a great single-player campaign and several hours of competitive online multiplayer matches for you and your friends to participate in.
Finally, the second half of the month ends off with Darksiders II. This sequel was well received by critics everywhere and is essentially the perfect game for them to release right around this time of the year. If you’ve heard of the series but never had a chance to get into it, now is the best time to do so.
