Alex Wiley, Ghostface, Lee Murkey and More | Koalition Radio #17

Sorry for the hiatus but we’re back! Over the last couple weeks we’ve accumulated quite the playlist for you all.

Leading the charge is a close affiliate, Alabama native, and fan of the site Lee Murkey. He has been slowly building buzz this last year as he works toward the inevitable debut and his new track, “Gun Barz”, just may his dopest yet. Many artists have taken those exploiting the culture to task and “Gun Barz” is another absolutely-not-subtle example.

Hitting us with a two piece, Chicago’s own Alex Wiley drops off “Lil Stoner Boi” and “Booty Club (Going Dumb Again)”. He continues his train of catchy music, hopefully leading into another full release in the early months of 2015.

Also hitting the list, Chance The Rapper & The Social Experiment release the first major single from upcoming album Surf. “Sunday Candy” is instantly one of my favorite songs of the year. It’s rhythms, melodies, and hook are infectious and you can’t help but smile. A great chance of pace from the usual aggressive Hip Hop.

Another Alabam native, G.I., drops off his itunes debut with “On It”. A banger for sure, “On It” is high energy motivation. Hopefully this is only the beginning for G.I.’s exposure. Be sure to check back as we update with more music from this dope artist.

Check out these songs and much more on this week’s Koalition Radio. Be sure to let us know what songs stand out to you and who you’d like to see make an appearance.
