So not too long ago, I wrote up an editorial about The Legend of Zelda and how it can benefit from finally being given voice acting to it’s characters. If you haven’t already, you should read up on the original editorial and give your thoughts in the comments section. Since it has gone up on The Koalition, the topic has generated a lot of discussion on the site, as well as other spots with fans of the series and Nintendo faithful. Everyone has had their own opinions and ideals about the franchise, both pro-voice acting and against it.
Yet with all discussion going on with the subject, there was a bunch of comments and ideas that I felt needed to be explored more and addressed. So I got my Koalition colleague Tony Polanco to sit down with me and talk about voice acting and The Legend of Zelda series as a whole. And while I’m the more knowledgeable about the games themselves, Tony and I had a great talk about series evolving after being popular for more than 25 years, as well as what could possibly come next for Zelda.
It’s an interesting podcast special that Zelda fans, Nintendo faithful and all video game enthusiast are not going to want to miss.
Do you agree or disagree with what was said on the podcast? Think of something that wasn’t addressed about what was talked about? Can Zelda benefit from voice acting or be completely ruined? Then leave us a comment in the comment section below and let your voice be heard!
