Earlier this morning, Deep Silver UK posted a cryptic image over Twitter that is tied to the popular Saints Row franchise. The mysterious tweet features a graphic of the iconic Saints Row franchise logo branded with the is numbers 666. Have a look at the embedded tweet below in all it’s glory:

Volition have already confirmed that they will be at PAX Prime and are planning to make a special announcement. After the success of Saints Row 4, it’s more than likely that we will be getting a Saints Row 5 reveal at some point later today. It is also possible that the Saints Row 666 title could suggest that the next game in the series will revolve around players exploring both heaven and hell.
Knowing the current state of the industry, I wouldn’t be surprised if this announcement ends up being nothing more than a confirmation of remastered versions of the entire franchise coming to both the Xbox One and PS4. While this may be cool for some, I’m personally holding out hope that this is indeed a new Saints Row game instead. Luckily for us all, we won’t have to wait too much longer to find out now.
