The Best Games of 2015: February Releases

After a decent month of game releases, February promises to up the ante in just about every way imaginable. Major titles like Evolve, The Order: 1886, and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D are just a few examples of what we can look forward to playing all month long. Below is a full list of 11 titles you definitely should keep your eyes on in the days and weeks ahead.

Game of Thrones: Episode 2- The Lost Lords is the next chapter in Telltale’s version of the popular fantasy series. If you’re a fan of the HBO series and you enjoyed all that the last episode had to offer, then picking this game up right now is your only option.

Evolve is the highly anticipated asymmetrical multiplayer first-person shooter created by the talented team over at Turtle Rock Studios. The game pits four player-controlled hunters against a player-controlled alien monster. If you’re looking for a competitive multiplayer shooter where teamwork is the key to survival, then Evolve may be your best bet for this month.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is the latest sequel from the critically-acclaimed action role-playing series developed by Capcom. This 3D enhanced version of the game offers fully integrated online multiplayer and allows players to utilize their saves from the original Monster Hunter 4 game. If you’re planning on picking up the new 3DS, then this title may also be worth checking out too.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D is a remake of the original Majora’s Mask game with 3D graphics, touchscreen controls, and several other features. Much like Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, this is another game that will be launching around the same time as the new 3DS. If you’re a diehard Zelda fan, do yourself a favor a pick this up on day one.

Dead or Alive 5 Last Round is the third updated version of Dead or Alive 5. Fans can expect two new characters, two stages, and new costumes. If you still haven’t played Dead or Alive 5, this is yet another opportunity for you to do so.

Total War: Attila is the ninth standalone game in the Total War series. This game focuses on Attila the Hun and his rise to dominance as the leader of the Hunnic Empire. If you love Total War games, then you’ll find yourself right at home with this title.

Full Title: Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
Developer: HAL Laboratory

Release Date: February 20th

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is a follow-up to Kirby: Canvas Curse and features full Amiibo support. This platformer is ideal for Wii U owners and Kirby fans everywhere. If you enjoyed Canvas Curse, then you’ll most likely enjoy this game too.

Release Date: February 20th

The Order: 1886 is arguably the most important game out this month. This Ready at Dawn developed third-person shooter is set in an alternate history London and revolves around an order of knights trying to rid the world of half breed monsters. If you own a PS4 and you’re looking for a brand new exclusive to sink your teeth into, then this title is an absolute must buy.

Release Date: February 24th

Dragon Ball XenoVerse is easily the best looking Dragon Ball Z game in recent memory. This title features 3D destructive environments and detailed character creation options across various races. If you’re a Dragon Ball Z fan, then this game should definitely be on your radar.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 – Episode 1 is the start of a brand new episodic format to the Resident Evil series. Revelations 2 takes place between Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 and features Claire Redfield as the lead protagonist. If you enjoyed the first Revelations game, then you may get a kick out of this one too.

Homeworld Remastered Collection is a remastered package of Homeworld HD and Homeworld 2 HD brought to us by the fine folks over at Gearbox Software. If you’re into real-time strategy games, then you definitely should keep an eye out for this collection.
