D.D. is Showcased in New Metal Solid V: The Phantom Pain Screenshots

New screenshots from the upcoming Metal Solid V: The Phantom Pain have emerged thanks to the Metal Gear Solid fansite. The images showcase D.D. (Diamond Dog) alongside Snake.

In the game, Snake can call upon D.D during missions. D.D isn’t Snake’s only animal companion as he will also have an stallion named Diamond Horse (D. Horse). A closer look at the screens reveal that there’s a plastic mask on D. Horse, meaning it can be equipped with gear.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will release in September 1st for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It will release September 15th for PC via Steam.
