From November Onwards, all Xbox 360 Games With Gold Titles Will be Backwards Compatible on Xbox One

Xbox Games With Gold has met with derision in the past due to it not offering up as many goodies as its rival, PlayStation Plus. Things have turned around for it lately since it is now offering up bigger AAA games like Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Things will continue to get even better for this program starting in November.

Microsoft announced that all future Xbox 360 Games With Gold titles will be backwards compatible on the Xbox One starting this November. This means that those who subscribe to the Xbox’s premium Xbox Live Gold service will be getting a total of four games; two on Xbox 360, and two on Xbox One.

Right now, backwards compatibility will be available for Microsoft published games, but a number of third party publishers will have games on the service as well.
