Frustration as Lupe Fiasco can be (don’t follow him on twitter if you’re still a fan), Mr. Fiasco found himself in a creative zone when working on Tetsuo & Youth. After the disappointments of LASERS and FL II, his releases have been of top notch quality and “Adoration of the Magi” is next up.
Lupe has always produced some lyrically engaging content, but often the collective song ends up not being enjoyable. “Adoration of the Magi” is another complex piece that will take many, many listens to digest but the hook and instrumental are great backdrops as you…..well, as you study the work basically.
