Super Smash Bros Controller App Arrives on the 3DS eShop Without Any Fanfare

Here’s some news that didn’t leak, Nintendo has released an app for 3DS which permits players to utilize their 3DS as a controller, despite not owning the 3DS version of the game.

Back when Super Smash Bros. originally released for 3DS and Wii U, gamers could use their 3DS controller for the Wii U version of the game. Unfortunately, this feature was only for gamers if they owned both versions of the game.

Yay for modern technology for making for a better gaming experience.

The Super Smash Bros Controller App is priced at 99 cents on the 3DS eShop.
