Yesterday, Microsoft confirmed via their blog that Sunset Overdrive, The Wolf Among Us, Dead Space, and Saints Row IV will all be available for free during the April “Games With Gold” promotion.
Sunset Overdrive and The Wolf Among Us are the two free Xbox One games for the month. The Wolf Among Us will be available for download starting on April 1st and last all month long. Sunset Overdrive can be downloaded anytime between April 16th and May 15th.
From April 1st through the 15th, Xbox 360 owners will be able to download Dead Space. The second half of the month ends off with Saints Row IV. It’s also worth adding that both of these Xbox 360 games can now be played on the Xbox One thanks to the backwards compatibility feature.
As a fan of pretty much every game included in this lineup, I’d have to say that this is easily Microsoft’s best offering of free games so far this year. If you never got a chance to experience what these titles have to offer, then you certainly owe it to yourself to check them out next month.
