Titanfall 2 Has A Single Player Campaign

Earlier today, Gamespot published a news story stating that Titanfall 2 will have both a single player campaign and TV show spinoff. These details originally surfaced from a Forbes interview with lead writer Jesse Stern. The TV show in currently being worked on over at Lions Gate Entertainment and is expected to debut sometime around the game’s release.

Stern also stated that development on Titanfall 2 started in late 2014 and it is currently unknown if the game will launch later this year. Electronic Arts have the sequel scheduled for a fiscal 2017 launch meaning it can hits stores anytime between April 1st of this year and March 31st, 2017. While EA haven’t given any details about the titles that will be shown during their EA Play event prior to E3 2016, it’s a pretty safe bet that this will be one of the games on display at the show.

Titanfall 2 sounds like it already has more content than the original game.

Titanfall was a fun first-person shooter that had a short shelf life due to the overall lack of content. Hopefully Titanfall 2 can succeed in lasting longer and give PS4 owners a chance to experience the series on their consoles.

Are any of you looking forward to Titanfall 2? Are you glad that it now has a single player campaign mode? Please feel free to let us know your thoughts on this and more in the comments section below.
