Every Murder Tells the Tale of a City – An Interview with Bosch and All Eyez on Me’s Jamie Hector

Fifteen years ago, a little-known crime drama premiered on HBO called The Wire featuring an ensemble cast filled with actors whose careers would become unstoppable. One of those actors was Jamie Hector who played a rising gang member called Marlo Stanfield.

Flash forward to today and Hector as found himself on the other of the law in the Amazon crime drama, Bosch. Inspired by Michael Connelly’s novels: City of Bones, Echo Park, and The Concrete Blond, the show follows Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) and Jerry Edgar, played by Hector, as they work together to solve cases in Los Angeles.

The Koalition had an opportunity to interview the Bosch and All Eyez on Me (he plays Tupac stepfather Mutulu Shakuactor) actor about what we can expect from the upcoming season. We get to hear about Hector’s journey of finding the character and that one time when he was involved in a real-life drug raid when a ride-along went awry.
