Mass Effect: Andromeda Release Date Set For March 21st

Earlier today, Bioware General Manager Aaryn Flynn confirmed in a blog post that Mass Effect: Andromeda will launch in North America on March 21st and in Europe on March 23rd for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Below are a few more details from Flynn’s statement along with tidbits of what both new and longtime fans of the series can expect from this highly anticipated title.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is our most ambitious Mass Effect game to date. We’re telling completely new stories, creating new characters, new planets, new species, and introducing new gameplay systems. And for the first time, we’re bringing Mass Effect to the Frostbite game engine, an incredible engine that’s delivering a tremendous graphical jump from the trilogy to Mass Effect: Andromeda. To deliver on this, we’re taking all the time we can to make sure you’re getting the best possible experience.

In addition to this news, new gameplay footage and environments from Mass Effect: Andromeda will be revealed during Nvidia’s CES 2017 Keynote later tonight. Stay tuned for a trailer and some additional thoughts on this footage as soon as we gain access to it.
