Here is Rick Rozay’s new mixtape offering that is currently trending. This mixtape has the inter-webs on fire right now, so I’m sure there’s something good about it. He has a whole lot of star power on the tape, with the likes of Nas, Styles P, Drake and Diddy. I bumped the hell out of the previous two There Is No Competition mixtapes from Loso, so I’m happy that he decided to make a trilogy out of the series. This new tape features Loso rapping with the likes of Lloyd Banks, Jadakiss, Styles P and Meek Mill, along with the usual Street Family affiliates. I consider this to be one of many Birthday/Christmas gifts to myself, cheers Fab and Drama. .

Game is putting in a lot of work these days and with his album just 3 weeks away the westcoast rapper has released a new mixtape to keep his name buzzing in the streets. I haven’t had time to fully listen to the ‘tape myself but after skimming through each track I feel confident in saying that this mixtape is good enough to be a full length album. If this is the calibre of songs we can expect on The Red Album it just might be Game’s strongest effort since The Documentary.

When Lil’ B announced the title of his upcoming album it naturally sparked a lot of controversy. For obvious reasons a lot of people will feel uncomfortable purchasing a product called I’m Gay but don’t worry, Lil’ B is now allowing his fans to download the album for free.

Following the video game themed title is a track called “Retro Gamer” which comes as a huge disappointment. The beat seems really out of place and horribly produced. Soulja Boy does it no justice by rambling on about things for 2 minutes straight. Out of all the gaming songs in history, this one has been dubbed by me as the worst ever. I occasionally find myself listening to video game music during the late A.M. hours to put me in a good vibe before I go to sleep. On this night in particular I happen to stumble upon something new that I want to share with the people. This album is unique as it features only different remixes of one Final Fantasy X song called “Hurry”.

The guys over at OC Remix were challenged by the people that their community could not remix this particular song. As you can see and will hear, they have done so and each track is excellent. Each version is a different genre and has a different feel, but they all remain faithful to the original Final Fantasy X Hurry track by Junya Nakano.
