Earlier this week, Endnight Games released a brand new alpha gameplay trailer from The Forest and confirmed that the game will be releasing through Steam Early Access on May 22nd. The video is conveniently embedded above for you all to check out.
The Forest can be best described as an ambitious survival horror title where the player has to deal with the after effects of being stranded on a remote island full of dangerous inhabitants. I had the opportunity to do an insightful Q & A session with Endnight Games earlier this month. By all accounts, the game looks impressive and it will be interesting to see how the Oculus Rift support adds to the overall gameplay experience.
