Homefront: The Revolution Revealed for XB1/PS4/PC, Coming 2015

Crytek have today revealed that they are developing upcoming FPS Homefront: The Revolution, the sequel to the disappointing 2011 game developed by Kaos Studios will release on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in 2015.

The PlayStation Blog provided further details about the game, saying:

“Set in Occupied Philadelphia in a nightmare near-future dystopia, Homefront: The Revolution casts the player as a civilian-turned-freedom-fighter who must rise up and lead the Resistance against a superior military force and ignite the Second American Revolution.

This is no linear shooter – within the open world structure, you will have to master the art of guerrilla warfare and use sabotage, assassination, deception, infiltration and hit-and-run tactics to erode your enemy’s iron grip on the city.”

Details are still scarce at the moment but we have heard that Homefront: The Revolution will also feature four player co-op, check out the trailer embedded above  to see a first look at the game.

Homefront: The Revolution is coming to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in 2015.
