Mortal Kombat Book of Remembrance: Exclusive Interview with Myke Iffrig

Nothing can prepare you... except for this!

Mortal Kombat is a long running fighting game series with a rich lore and history that spans over 25 years. In an exclusive interview with the creator of the Mortal Kombat: Book of Remembrance project, I sit down with Myke Iffrig to chat about his project that has spanned over two years to bring to life a complete encyclopedia for the entire Mortal Kombat franchise.

Both of us chat about everything Moral Kombat, including all of the main and spin-off games in the series, as well as some of the extras related to the franchise. We also dive into what hardcore Mortal Kombat fans should expect to see in the encyclopedia if the project reaches its goals. Starting from a petition that has generated more than 9,000 signatures and support from various people associated with the franchise, Myke hopes to garner enough support from the gaming community to peak Netherrealm Studios’ interest into making this encyclopedia a reality. Since there hasn’t been a compilation book or encyclopedia made for the series beforehand, he believes this would be a great opportunity to honor the series’ legacy and give something special to long-time Mortal Kombat fans.

This is one interview that fighting game enthusiast and lovers of the series, competitive and casual alike, are definitely going to want to miss out on.

What are your thoughts about this Mortal Kombat Encyclopedia project? Think this is what fans have wanted all along? Leave us a comment below and let your voice be heard!
