Our old pals Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, along with their daughter Cassie Cage, are front and center in the newest trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat X. The video shows that while this family may butt heads with each other frequently, they do a lot worse to their opponents’ skulls (and spines).
Johnny and Sonya have some of their familiar moves along with a few new others. Cassie has some of her parents’ abilities along with her own unique set which includes firearms. Despite all of the brutal combos and finishers, the trailer is lighthearted in tone.
Mortal Kombat X will be released for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on April 14. If you pre-order the game, you’ll get to play as everyone’s four-armed warrior: Goro.
