In reply to L-Dub. Best believe, I'm not finding reasons not to give it a 5. I am a HUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGEEEEEEE Joe Budden fan; he's easily my favorite member in Slaughterhouse (followed by Nickle) so that has nothing to do with it. I attempt to remain unbiased in my approach of reviews and it just didn't have the feel of a 5star project. That will likely come on this third album or on Mood Muzik 4.

you guys are trippin on the last part…Freight train was nice…the other two weren't even that bad for bonus tracks…also i have a mastered version i downloaded this dude on a forum increased the quality of the ep and put a link for download for people who wanted better quality for the EP. At the end of the day it sounds like your just finding reasons not to give it a 5…this is the only thing out this year i can actually listen to without skipping tracks.

In reply to L-Dub. Sorry, I overlooked your comment by mistake. I took off points for a variety of things: a few weak hooks, the weak joint w/ Young Chris, but I think the overriding factor was the sound quality. As I said above, it didn't bother me TOO much, but it's something either Amalgam or Joe need to look into fixing.

Hey why did you lower points for bonus tracks that seems weird that is like adding points to Relapse cause of bonus tracks…this album from beginning to end has no skip worthy tracks its not classic but a great album i would recommend. 5/5 and how much i enjoyed it not on if it is classic but just the fact nothing is below average everything is good

I agree with you: EXCELLENT project, crappy quality. I’ve heard that Joe’s said he will have it mixed and mastered again on his own since Amalgam fucked it up.

Everything folks enjoy from Joe was on this project tho and looking at the potential team on The Great Escape, should be Joe’s best project YET… that is, until MM4 lmao

Fantastic review, I agree with you that the last 3 tracks shouldn’t have existed but two of them are bonus tracks exclusive to idiots who buy the album directly from Amalgram Digital so I don’t think it should have affected your overall review score

What DID let it down though was it’s shitty quality, Joe REALLY needs a good engineer and/or better studio equiptment…
