yo, you missed a couple thingss but this is an unreal breakdown none the less.

– Pretty self-explanatory: Solar power refers to the sun. SUN – ‘S’ + O = U-NO. Uno is spanish for the number “one”. thats true but UNO is also a card game, in which the player tries to get rid of all of his cards and if you get rid of them all in one hand You say UNO (Which=one, 1 hand) and the game is over. also the blind reference at the end. and the first few lines about the extra 4 in the split is mixed its really 36, so i sling soda. 36oz=1 litre. 1 litre is the the big bottles of soda pop that coke or sprite comes in.. unreal. also cocaine and baking SODA, look the same and people put it in cocaine and crack to make it look more full. hence the 40 to 36 refrence.. i dont know for sure, but lupe is unbeleivable

nice breakdown! Just wanted to state that the line where he says "I'm Bumpy Johnson, I STICK to the STREETS.." basically referring to how blind people also walk with a white stick to the ground. And also I noticed in the first part where he says "through the hood like King cobras.." that has another meaning in it because if you look at the body of a King cobra it goes through its hood.

Great breakdown. But I think you missed a couple parts. When he said "I rain/reign supreme" I think he was also saying "Irene" (his gun) is supreme as well. And when you drop the "R" off of "rover" and "right" you get "OVER IGHT" Thanks for the breakdown.

i think that the line "with the CATS that push" he uses a double meaning with the brand of steamrollers, like you said, and the cats (slang term for people) that push or sell drugs. you probly didnt write this because it is pretty evident but i was pointing it out anyhow

This is an exeptional breakdown, i've been listening to this song for the last year, and i only figured out a very small portion of it… i feel enlightened now.Also, i think there's a double meaning when he says "They wanna take me back to zero like tare, fare". I'm not sure, but i think he's also saying "back to zero like Telfair": the nba player whose number when this song was released was zero. not completely sure, but sounds like it to me

people need to know this song and understand it…. lupe raps so different… its like a puzzle.. and when you figure his lyrics out you're like "wow dis dude is sick"… i really think this song should be on the radio… but i dont think hip hop is ready for this yet… but soon.
