I’ve been playing this game (on Koalition recommendation actually) and absolutely love it. It’s really a sequel to a PC freeware game called Babo Violent 2 – if you haven’t played it, you should try is out – http://www.rndlabs.ca.

The campaign is good, but the multiplayer is absolutely awesome – great collection of weapons, characters and abilities to unlock. Like one of the characters is a giant lava guy where you just roll over guys – it’s awesome!

I’ve heard about the graphics pauses – but haven’t seen them (and I’ve got 3 friends who play who are good too) Playbrains has a blog post on it though – supposedly it happens if you have an old hard-drive or somethin – http://www.playbrains.com/blog/?p=551 They say there’s an update coming.

As for lag, you just have to be sure to join a server with a 3 or 4 bar ping rating. Join a bad server, you get lag. Join a good server – no lag… Of course, the bigger games do this for you, but I’m used to this thing for PC games, so no biggie…

Me, I’d definitely give the game an 8+ rating… and yeah, the game doesn’t have much to do with Madballs, but isn’t that a *good* thing?
