plus activision are being way too greedy, 2 of these maps are old maps from cod4, come on its crazy, but the kids will lap it up and it will sell regardless, and if the maps are already on the disc and your paying for a code to unlock them, then i would argue you already own these maps and your payin again for them !

For 800 in W@W you also got a new Zombie map as well. No special ops missions in this DLC as far as I could tell, anyways.

i work in a games shop and this title has been traded in by the bucket load, most customers loved it first of all, then hate it due to cheats, glitchs and basically the arcadey style of game, i think cod4 broke the mold and after 2 years in developement mw2 seems to me to be a very expensive expansion, we were sellin cod4 for 2 years solid brand new and hardly anyone traded it in, this is not whats going on with mw2, of course its made millions but it wont keep selling for 2 years, i got rid of my copy long ago,i wont buy this franchise anymore. BC2 is better quality, longer single player, more realistic

You do realize that the gameplay styles of BC2 and MW2 are completely different right? Cod is more run n gun and battlefield is more tactical. His article makes sense its a freakin rip off. Cod Waw released four maps 3 multiplayer and one nazi zombie map and they charged 800 points for it. So its bullshit that they are charging 15 dollars for 3 new maps and 2 rehashed maps. Just go buy call of duty 4 and play all the old maps all you want to.

Well despite the fact that I think $15 for 5 maps is ridiculous BC2 is getting free maps.. and to my knowledge only 2 free maps… 2 free maps that are already on the game… they are actually changing one map that is currently on conquest mode to a Rush map (Laguna presa) and they are changing rush map to a Conquest map (someting Bay cant ever remember the name of that map but its the night time snow map… now I appreciate them being free but shouldnt this have already been on the game?? why cant we get brand new maps for free?

You should have made note that the Bad Company 2 map pack is FREE to those who bought the game new instead of used. FREE…as in $0 ….no microsoft points or PSN cards/credit cards needed. FREE.

I never said Bungie was on point for releasing that map pack on the 2nd disc. If you read it you'd see I was criticizing that practice which goes for any and all games that sells recycled content. Ultimately in the end whether or not you buy is totally up to you. This was just an article stating the facts and therefore no need to take it personal or serious.

i absolutely agree with you man, i remember back in E3 IW announced they were going to release a map pack for MW2. Well if they knew they were going to do this thats fine, i understand expand the life of the game by adding DLC to it, that makes sense. however if you are going to charge for it, which they are by a ridiculous price point, then that is wrong. they may as well of added it into the game prelaunch. With the billions they made on the game you think they could at least throw the gamer a bone and give them a break.it is bad enough the game is broken with countless glitches and the fact IW inspires camping by their much "innovation" gameplay mechanics of kill streak rewards such as the nuke with a 25 level kill streak, of course people are going to camp to get that.on one last note, if you have the battlefield bad company 2 limited edition, which if you received the game from gamestop you did, then you get the bad company DLC FREE of charge. i know the developers dont have all the say and microsoft has input on it as well but they do have input and can pull some strings.

Idk why everyone is crying its coming with new hardcore playlist along with the maps so i personally think it is worth it plus i personally hate Bad CAMPany 2
