Oh also don't be surprised if it goes to the future, since towards the end they even show a out in Space scene. Not like not like in MW2 but rather an actual futuristic NASA F15 looking device flying out of space.

checking out the video in slow motion on the PS3, I noticed Vietnam, modern day Cuba, modern day Artic.

I think the game will be present time at first, it will eventually flashback to the Vietnam. I am guessing something happens then the character is in a hospital and that's when he flashes back.
