No know this album is actually pretty good. Better than i thought it would be. I agree with the last comment on how the album is too slow. Wouldnt have hurt to had a couple crazy up beat tracks. Still pretty good.

The album is too slow. I am a Drake fan but every song does not need to be slowed down for him to croon over.

Even 'Miss Me' and the Swizz Beatz track (forgot the name) are hype ass songs then about halfway through the beat slows down to a crawl so this cat can croon on a track that probably would have been a club banger had he not slow it down to 30 BPM to whine. I just don't get that. He should have tracks that are slow and tracks that are fast. Don't try to make everything slow.

Also when rapping he excels at rapping over faster beats. His "slow flow" isn't nearly up to par with his beat riding fast flow. Know strengths and weaknesses.

Drake is a novelist. He knows how to put it all together to hook you in when you don't even want to be hooked. He did his own thing on this album. He is not gansta and is not trying to be gangsta.

Drake is about a whole movement, not just the artist. It is about the entire production team, the music, the lyrics, the mood, the fans, and being something different. Drake is not for everyone, and that is okay.

In reply to Travis Greeneq. It was not meant to be hip hop. You either like his work or you don't. Drake's work is about an entire experience. Drake is not just Aubrey Graham, Drake is the music, the lyrics, the mood, the message, and the entire production team.

Man, this cd just wasn't that good…for one it was TOO much singing…also it's like drake doesn't know which audience he wants to attract..but he has a lot of good metaphors "D.R.A.K.E. means Do Right And Kill Everything"..but with so much singing it throws the album off to me, i know a album should be diverse, but come on, it seems unbalanced, and then the last track is a complete paradox! and is it me or is the only different beat is over and find your love, eveything else sounds recycled from So Far Gone…also is the last track TOO similar to Jay-z style?

i didn't really enjoy this album… too much r&b, not enough rap. if this was an r&balbum, it would be good, but this is a rap album. imo, out of all the 09 freshmen, (drake, b.o.b, cudi, wale)man on the moon has been the best…

wait who cares about concept? who actually thinks abut concept and arrangement when were listening to music? most of us just skipp to our favorite song or shufle the play list. ima a big fan of 2Pac, Kanye, 50 Cent, Game, and i have open ears to many pop artist and R&B artist. i believe that this album was really great prolly the best album i heard since Graduation & Tha Carter III. the collaborations didn't bother me much Drizzy wasn't out-shined by any of them some of the guest appearances you forget they are there when listening.

I like this Drake fella, he puts out the sounds that I'm lookin for. Almost everything he puts out is stone cold dope! I feel this music, Drake truly spits crack "baggytight"!

I honestly didn't expect this CD to be better then his mixtape.

He's not that great of a hip hop artist. The only thing he has going for him is that Young Money label. Even that is messin him up.

Lil' Wanye and Birdman aren't ones to share the spotlight with anyone.(Remember the Hot Boyz anyone?) They probably held back some of his songs off the CD so it wouldn't be better then TC:III.

Trust me this guy wont be with YM/CMB for too long They're going to get what they can out of him and push him to the side like that did Juve and Mannie.

I love Light It Up and Forever but I can't seem to like anything else Drake does.

I've not listened to the album yet but when I get a hold of it I think I will still be wanting at the end of the album and I don't think that will be because he left it on a cliffhanger.

I thought the tracks were wonderfully arranged for the most part. The first three tracks start the album off in a very mellow, So Far Gone-esque tone. Then just when you begin to think this will be a overtly slow and depressing album, "Over" (which I didn't like at all until I heard on the album) brings things to life. I think "Miss Me" should have come after "Show Me A Good Time" and "Unforgettable" should have been the penultimate track.
