well to be honest i spoke to our rep @ EA and she told me that EA keep a close eye on multi plat sales, attach ratios, restocks and day 1 sales globally, she said EA have noticed that PS3 has alot of room for growth and development in many areas and genres, they dont see the same of the 360.Thats not saying 360 doesnt make alot of money and shift units.
I think its just business EA doesnt like exclussive games they like money and multi plat releases. on a side note did you hear that microsoft are in some legal trouble with the advertising watchdog in the UK, after it was proven they used ps3 ff 13 footage to advertise the 360 version of the same game !

Let me first say. There have been plenty of sequels throughout the years that we have all played without playing the first game in the series.

I've personally played Final Fantasy X-2 without playing X. I also know TONS of people who never owned a Playstation console ever, but bought a ps3 and started playing Metal Gear Solid 4 WITHOUT playing MGS2. [If we're talking story continuity] No one knew what happen to Olga's baby after the events of MGS2, for example. You had to play MGS4.

So i'm sure us gamers have multiple similar examples.

Also. There are a lot of 360 only owners who've never played Mass Effect 1 and NEVER WILL. So this ... ME2 being on the PS3 without PS3 owners playing/having ME1 also applies to 360 who have never played ME1 on the 360.

Yes, the option is there. But like i just stated. Some 360 owners will never play ME1 even if they have the option.

So, if the game turns out to be a NON-GIMPED port. I'll be one of those PS3 owners buying ME2 without having played ME1. And if i really cared to play ME1. I would find a way.
