The best EA franchise by far is NHL. NHL 10 is the greatest sports videogame every created. It's extremely realistic, yet you don't even have to like or follow hockey at all to enjoy it. The team behind NHL is now working on NBA Elite, so there is def hope for EA's basketball game.

This is a totally new game experience, did you not read the info?, this will be NBA SKATE in terms of gameplay now.

The NBA LIVE you liked last year its done, this is a new game with new director, new experience all physics based gameplay.

LIVE 10 had an ex 2K GAME DIRECTOR heading the project, do not forget about that.

Also remember last year it was supposed to the big LIVE improvement year, Now all of a sudden they throw away "LIVE" a brand that has been around for generations?.

2K is getting MJ on the cover shouldn't have made EA overreact in that fashion.

If EA Sports only cared about Madden and not their other Franchises then why are their most acclaimed games Fifa, NHL, and Fight Night NOT Madden. EA Sports is clearly noticing which games are not on par with their Franchise and improving them to keep the name in great standing.

WRONG!! Its pretty clear they are changing the game up TO COMPETE THIS YEAR. They're not starting from scratch you know. They are building on top of the much improved NBA Live from last year. And adding a hell of a lot more to the game. This is NOT a total new rebuild of the game.
