I think the biggest addition this series needs is the expansion of the number of people on screen. The power of the Playstation 3 is being wasted with THQ and/or Yukes' inability to resolve this issue. With more people on the screen, this would allow for more match types, a more realistic Royal Rumble, a more realistic Survivor Series match, so on and so forth. Furthermore, I haven't bought a game since 2009 because it seems to be the same game with subtractions rather than additions. Why is going into the crowd gone?? So they can act as if it's an addition 3 years from now? We can't go backstage in a falls count anywhere match? We were able to do it in WWE Smackdown 2 and now it's too difficult to add into the game? When I throw someone into the stage, they just run in place?? Really?? The amount of flaws in this game is truly disgusting and it hinders it's replay value. I truly think a remake of the entire engine is not something that will help the series, but rather is required of the series. If such is not done, at least make decent changes that will truly add to the game.

Even though I've stated many fixes required of the game, i'll list them and more just to summarize:

– Minimum of 9 people on screen

WWE Royal Rumble on the DREAMCAST was able to accomplish this task, Playstation 3/XBox360 should be able to do the same with no problem)

– Further implementation of the new physics system put into play in SVR2011

I really don't want to throw people into things and watch them run in place, everything should be interactive, including hopping on and off the stage. On top of this, The ability for the system to not allow my 200 pound wrestler to F5 Big Show.

– A No-Mercy style career mode

The Road to Wrestlemania career modes are cool, but lack replay value and are limited in their span to cover the roster. While WWE Universe was a good attempt at changing such, a new career mode that throws in all different types of stories (You can create new storylines, I know you have it in you), even if it's in text like in the old days, it's better than nothing.

– Separate Career mode for created wrestlers

Start off in FCW (it only really takes one additional arena) and then have wrestlers work up to NXT, then move onto matches in house shows, then Superstars, then finally Raw/Smackdown and PPV's. Similar to a created player in MLB 11: The Show, this would allow players to create a wrestler, and really start him from the ground up, earn attributes, and make it fun again. While you should still be able to buy unlimited attributes online from THQ, the purpose of the video game is to accomplish something. With allowing me to create my wrestler straight to a 96 provides no challenge whatsoever, more importantly no incentive for me to continue playing the game. If I can do this in 5 days, why not rent the game instead of buying it… oh I do that.

– Ability to travel backstage/into the crowd from the ring

This has been there in the past, I don't know why it disappeared and why it isn't coming back.

– King of the Ring/Bracket set-up

This seems to be too easy to add and you can even boast it as a new fresh mode.

– Create an arena

I know at first this sounds overwhelming, but the ability for the player to change rope colors, add paint tool art to banners/ring aprons, and make minor changes to the stage (I know completely allowing a player to construct a stage may be excessive) would be incredible.

– Expanded Match Creator

This was a huge edition to the game, but it should go further. If I want to have a hardcore cage match, I should be able to do so without demanding too much from the game's system.

Now this is a HUGE list, and it's not really put together perfectly considering I mashed it together in 3 or 4 minutes. But this is what needs to be changed to make the next game not just another year, but a stand out like No Mercy.
