The new maps are there for PS3 its just not published under new releases. I found it by looking at all downloads.

go into PSN store and go to the search feature. Type " Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence" and thats it I am downloading it right now.

I've restarted my PS3 several times and everytime I load up MW2 it says "New maps available" (or something like that) when I go into Multiplayer but the PS Store just doesn't have the shit! WTF?

Got the update early today. Been playing with double XP since.. BUT no Resurgence pack download available at the PS store. I've heard it won't hit until 8PM EST. Sucks that we're still waiting, but at least we're getting double XP. If you check the online game modes after the patch, you'll see that there are 4 people playing the Resurgence maps and 5 on the Hardcore Resurgence. Wish I could get a friend invite or something…
