I mean goddamn i been waitin for nba live11 aka elite to come out for 4ever. cause i really enjoyed live 10 i thing it was the best baskeball ball game EA has ever came out with, n then this garbege ass demo, this got to be a complete joke bro? i mean this whole game sucks,the game play the demo, the shootin,passin,jumpin,runnin, why did they take the speed button off in the first place? that just slowed the whole game down, n whats up with the button play ,y r they so slow to respond ? n y is it so hard 2 pass the ball when ur in the air? n whats up with all the glitches? I mean goddamn bro this is just basic shit,i dont know what kind of drugs EA was on or if they need drugs, but all i think they have to do is stick to the basics, stick to what live10 n fuck all that new hands on controler shit, thats a bunch of boshit anyway, make some changes, like add those commentators mark,jeff,n mike, n put back the speed button,n add some new moves,dunks,n features,n they will do just fine, i fully understand y EA pushed the release date back till 2011, is because its not hard to c that this game is a total discrase n embaresment n the worst screw job in the world,n no true basketball fan would have ever bought it not even for 20 bucks,n no fan will buy it for more then 20 bucks if it comes out in feb 2011,n thats some real shit EA comin from the guy that is currently n still #1 in the country in live10 online play, n currently #3 in 2k11 online play, so yea please get ur shit right, or u lost me 4ever, 100…

You guys are too rough on this game. While I only checked Be a Star (or whatever it's called) mode I had great fun with the demo. The controlls are awesome. It might be because last baskteball gae I played for longer than 5 minutes was Total NBA 98 for PSX, but these controlls are really good. It is the same as it was with Fight Night 4. I was in shock seeing how people bashed new controlls while I loved them. They are not hard to learn, you just have to try. This might be the first basketball game that I will buy.

I'm a ea fanatic it took me 3 years to switch to 2k and I still bought live 10. Thought maybe elite would improve but its far worse. I played the demo the 1 st day it sucks I've played both demos 2k has flaws but its smoother and allows for better control when on the break and in sets while playing. My home I let him play both just to get a reaction he is a more of a live fan than me and has never purchased a 2k gm. He said this is worse than bulls vs. Blazers in 93 on sega. Just admit this sh@t is garbage….

I've been playing live since 90's I'm old school back from snes live days.. But this is tough and I'm pretty co ordinated. Have a go see what you think

Ive played Ea ball since forever…but i lost interest when 2k9 came out. I always test out Ea games through rental not demos. I will test both out again, but I feel its going to be 2k again, EA is too arcade for me. Players still move like they are robots. Im more of a sim-style player.

Actually, you have to pull a trigger + LS to pass. There was no way he could have figured it out without reading. Buttons mainly call plays. In theory that's a good idea. The entire game is relearning everything you ever knew about moving in sports with a ball. The AI is not giving in while you learn on Pro. You are in the Final game of Lakers-Celts probably behind (everybody picks LA).

It is to a point where it's almost like a Wii game in the approach. EA should have gotten in front of this with some street promotions and videos of gamers using it right. It's comes off negative when everybody has the same issue. Kind of like when gamers were all anti Killzone because it wasnt just like CoD4.

The dumbass in the video just can't play. This game is gonna suck compared to 2k but, the dude could'nt even throw the ball inbound before getting hit with 5 seconds. DUDE you just push one of the four buttons. It ain't that hard.

Ok. I played more Elite. EA, in the future don't release a new IP with new controls and Lakers already down. This is America and right now America likes Kobe. Most Kobe D riders are not going to like to see their hero lose every game in the demo. 2K was smart and gave it an even 0-0 start and gave the Jordan D-riders some shine too.

Now that I really gave it a real play through, I can say I hate the graphics. EA really should have made Elite/Jam DLC for $14.99 on PSN and XBL. Sorry guys, I can't endorse Elite. 2K is the same as Dreamcast days, but that beats Elite for $60.

Sorry for over posting but I got my hands on the demo. Its hard to get the hang because its basically tank controls. It took about an hour for me to compete with the Celts. If you run the triangle, Kobe runs to the top of the arch and the stick shots makes hitting a 3 feel great.

A video like this will real likely get a fool at EA fired. I feel sorry for the dude responsible for R&D for the demo. But, EA must have really done some new code for the game. It's not just a remix of last year like 2k for sure based on that giant glitch.

I'm still pulling for Live err..Elite. I like the X's and O's style basketball. Live and Madden have the same models, look and feel I like in sports game. The game sound fx in Live also beat out 2k for me.

I've played everything from EA since 91. I want something new to play. I like the new quick game features in Madden. I hope Elite gets better really quick.
