I BEEN TELLING PEOPLE FOR EVER LIVE 10 is better then 2k11 and ELITE! ALL EA needed to do was REVAMP LIVE 10 that is IT! THEY LISTENED TO THE 2K LOVERS AND DID WAY TO MUCH.

EA DO YOUR FANS A FAVOR AND RELEASE A ROSTER UPDATE FOR LIVE 10. I SO DO NOT WANT TO USE 2K's AWFUL I MEAN ABSOLUTELY AWFUL CONTROLS. ISO MOTION = TERRIBLE

Do not expect the new game until October 2011, IMO since the IP didn't even launch they might as well bring back LIVE, that brand is classic anyways.

i'm in vancouver where they make nba elite. i saw a guy on the bus with a nba elite t shirt on , i think to my self this guy has to work for EA. i ask him if he work on the game ( this is the day after the delay was posted ) he said , YES ! Frist thing i ask him was about the delay . The frist thing out of his mouth was “ GO TO BE 6 MONTHS “ no joke !! dam all !!!

Why pay $15 for a Beta which is going to be full of glitches and almost unplayable? Unless they give you that $15 off of the original price of $60 when it's released…

I Do like your idea of the $5 roster update though that's pretty dope.

Everything else you said I can agree with I guess.

I understand that and I agree but 2K been doing sticks gameplay for years now, so the idea isn't really new in this NBA gaming realm. Also that shooting meter stuff…Sony's NBA games had that already.

The most stand out part of their concept is the physics situation but if the gameplay isnt polished then what's the point?.

They assigned the trigger button for passing? really?, these NHL Hockey devs must have never played an NBA game before that is not natural.

If you're going with the sticks gameplay stuff do like 2K had it where you can pass with the stick if you wanted to.

The fact they are using NBA JAM to bribe people into paying for this should tell you EA doesn't trust the IP's quality at all.

I look at Elite like a concept game. Given time the sticks are the way to go. It's just not polished at all. I'd get the game for the newness of the idea if it were cheaper. But my expectations would be low. I could not expect a lot of fanpages or dedicated guys taking about elite during the NBA season. Lol

Elite 11 beta DLC $14.99 during All Star Weekend

What EA used to do was use NCAA to try out new code. I guess they could have let the hockey guys try out the new Elite system there first.

1. Why release it then?, they clearly thought it was good lol. The Elite demo is clearly close to Elite final, the game is what a few weeks away?, you won't see much change.
2. Sometimes that isn't a good thing, I agree they should had give these guys 2 years to make this Elite Idea come through, like I showed you there LIVE 10 looks alot better.
3. Is not cool to rob people of their money, I am looking out for the gamer out there, EA needs to also realize the game is already tarnished, the stigma is horrible, that can't be good, so I am warning them about it.

Doing fast math the total would have been $40.00 for a EA Sports basketball package + $10 if you have a used Live 10. Still cheaper than 2K11 and you have 3 games…

The hook glitch can be handled with a patch. Not an issue.

EA should have released Elite as DLC (beta) for say $14.99 to work out issues like the sky hook from mid court. Then put out a full version next season for $60.

NBA Jam could have been DLC for $19.99.

A nice roster update for Live 10 for $4.99 would have been a good look too + they could charge for EA online access of used games. Everyone would have been happy.

EA missed a chance to do a new IP justice and service players of the old franchises.
