I’d personally rather pay $40 for a disc with everything on it than $60 total for individual character DLC. That said, Capcom not offering the option to upgrade via DLC seems a bit odd after SSFIV:AE did just that. Perhaps the original MVC3 release just didn’t have the necessary framework to accommodate certain changes Capcom wanted to make?
