you have to add stuff to the crysis 2 demo shortcut. I did it with the EA download, but many people on the steam forums have got it working.

I'm going to assume you know how to make a shortcut so do that then right click it and choose properties. You will see an area called "Target" this is where you will add your custom commands.

for example

To change the field of view you would add the following commands to your shortcut. "Make sure they are added after the .exe, like in the example below."

+cl_fov=90
+r_DrawNearFoV=90
+pl_movement.power_sprint_targetFov=90

it should look similar to this

"D:GamesCrysis 2 Demobin32Crysis2Demo.exe" +cl_fov=90 +r_DrawNearFoV=90 +pl_movement.power_sprint_targetFov=90

Once you have done that hit ok and now when you start the game the FOV should be at 90

You would do the same thing to disable the motion blur and disable the intro movies

You can change the field of view in the demo. That and turning off the motion blur was the first thing I did

The lack of DirectX 11 is too much of a complaint for me. It still looks incredible in DirectX 9.

Like Chessnuts said the Field of View sucks. I want to see less of the gun and more of the surroundings!

Crytek from the get go did want this to be very 'console friendly' and it shows. Let's hope Crytek don't completely leave PC gamers in the dust.

That screenshot pretty much sums it all up. This demo was disappointing, but hopefully they fix it before the full release.
The other thing that pissed me off is how small the field of view is, the gun takes up a quarter of the screen space like your average console shooter. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but on the PC it feels like the gun is up on your chin.
